It's been five months since the Car Design News Contest 2008 brief was first announced. And now, the last of our nine esteemed judges have completed their assessment of the 20 finalists. Geneva Show 2014: Mini Goes Large With Clubman Concept

FRESH from launching its all-new three-door hatch range, Mini is keeping up the pressure on its rivals by revealing a concept for its forthcoming Clubman replacement. Aside from some left-field interior design details, the big news is that the car is, well, bigger than its production predecessor. Industry sources claim this latest interpretation of the Clubman is close to being production ready, hinting at a car with more cabin and load space than before.

Range Rover Hybrid LWB debuts in Beijing

The Range Rover Hybrid now comes with added length We’ve already seen the Range Rover Hybrid and the LWB Range Rover, but now we get the two together with the debut of the Range Rover Hybrid LWB at the Beijing Motor Show. Just like the normal Rangie Hybrid, the LWB version comes with a 3.0 litre diesel engine coupled to an electric motor with an extra 47bhp making a total of 345bhp. It also gets extra torque – 516lb/ft.
