Tuned Port Induction Programming Services

Back after a 3 year hiatus from E-Bay. I'm now retired and have time to help you get it running right. Service does not stop after the sale here. This is a brand new AC Delco memcal, and not one pulled from a wrecking yard and re-flashed, or a 6 cylinder memcal where they claim the ESC has been eliminated. These will never run right! If they claim remanufactured, or rebuilt it is a 6 cylinder memcal, and the ESC unit will not process the spark advance correctly.

This auction is for 1 memcal (calibration module) with custom or stock programming for your 1990, 91, 92, and 93 fuel injected LT1 Tuned Port Induction injection speed density TPI system with a 7730, 9278 Camaro, or 7727, 9278 Corvette ECM, or mass air systems for 86, 87,88, and 1989 Corvette, Camaro, and Firebird Trans Am's using the 7165 ECM. Custom programming for your SBC whatever cubic displacement size, injector size, or cam with less than 224 degrees of duration at .050 is possible with TPI. For cams larger than 224 at .050 will work with the speed density type 7730 ECM, but a different intake designed with shorter runners should be used. One of the spark tables used is from one of the premier aftermarket specialty shops, but one will be chosen for your application that best suites your vehicle.

Recently I've been having to program memcals for people who bought from very large Companies. These Companies are trying to use 6 cylinder memcals. THIS CANNOT BE DONE! The ESC (electronic spark control) unit in the memcal must be from a TPI car, PERIOD. If you bought from a big company, and your car just doesn't seem to run right. Please contact me and I'll get back to you, and find out if you're a victim of un-savory sell at all cost companies.

The following questions should be answered to the best of your ability. Some information may not require an answer if your motor is stock. The more information understood the better optimized your programming will be.

#1. Cubic displacement IE: 305, 350, 355, 383, 406, etc.

#2. Transmission type: Automatic, or manual.

#3. Compression ratio and cylinder head type.

#4. Cam specifications: Duration & lift at .050 & Lobe separation angle (LSA)

#5. Injector size: Brand & number preferred.

#6. Fuel rail nueber IE: 1708XXXX, or if using an adjustable pressure regulator? What is the desired pressure at idle with vacuum disconnected. I will recommend if asked.

#7. Vehicle Anti Theft System (VATS): Enable / Disable

#8. Exhaust gas recirculation (EGR): Enable / Disable

#9 Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS): Enable / Disable.

#10. Cooling fan(s) settings: 160, 180, or 195. I recommend using at least a 180 thermostat for TPI.

#11. Speed limiter: Default is 255 mph / or specify desired speed.

#12. RPM limiter: Default is 10,000 RPM / I recommend limiting it to 800 rpm over peak horsepower expected.

#13. What type of ECM: Speed Density 1990, 91, and 92. ECM #'s 1227730, 16196344, 16198262, 1227277, 16197128, 16198260, or Mass Air 1986, 87, 88, and 89. ECM #'s 1227165, 16198259, and 16198445.

Seat Bocanegra (2008): first official pictures

Mon, 03 Mar 2008

By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 03 March 2008 22:47 What’s new on Seat’s Geneva Motor Show stand? It’s all about the new Ibiza on the Mediterranean-themed Seat stand today. Forget the Bocanegra badge, this concept is a thinly veiled teaser for the new supermini due to hit showrooms at the end of the year.It looks pretty special, a tantalisingly taut three-door supermini with good proportions and a fresh take on the swooping wheelarch line that has come to epitomise modern Seats. We’re less keen on the blindspot-inducing quarterlights, though.

Prototype of new Alfa Romeo Milano is spied; a future car for Chrysler?

Chrysler let slip the names to two upcoming Alfa Romeo models in its survival plan submitted to Congress--and here is a look at one of them, the Milano. Alfa has been developing this five-door small car to replace the 147 in its lineup. The new car was developed under the 149 name, but it will be called the Milano when it is launched in Europe late this year.

Toyota NS4 concept car (2012) first official pictures

Wed, 21 Dec 2011

Toyota regularly shows hybrid concept cars at the Detroit auto show – and the 2012 NAIAS is no different. Problem is, we don't yet know much about their planned debut. Called the NS4, all we can see so far is this rather ludicrously cropped shot of the headlamp.
