Lotus fights back with three-year warranty and servicing deal

The move is designed to kickstart interest in the brand, which is suffering a 9% slump in sales in 2014 year to date. Lotus has sold just 73 cars in the United Kingdom over the first five months of the year.

With this in mind, Lotus has turned to an unexpected source to inject some media buzz and visual freshness into the Evora for the 2011 Geneva motor show: Mansory. Under the slogan 'Is it always wise to customise? If you must then do it with some style' Lotus has commissioned Mansory to customise the Evora – continuing the run of controversial new moves that the firm has made under CEO Dany Bahar’s leadership. Mansory has applied its well-known carbonfibre fetish to the Lotus coupe, bringing the Evora closer to the edgy styling cues of design chief Donato Coco’s next-generation Lotus concept cars.
Lorinser debuts 2014 Mercedes-Benz S-class
Wed, 04 Dec 2013Brabus and AMG aren't the only tuning houses fielding their own versions of Mercedes-Benz cars, and during this week's Essen Motor Show German tuning house Lorinser unveiled their version of the new W222 Mercedes-Benz S-class. Lorinser has been tuning Mercedes-Benz automobiles since 1976 (and they've been selling them for more than 80 years), though their tuned cars not often seen on our shores. But Lorinser's upgrades to the S-class cars of the last 20 years have been well received in Europe.
