Hyundai ix20 revealed

The Hyundai ix20 will debut at Paris As is often the case, ‘revealed’ is perhaps too strong a word for what we have on Hyndai’s latest offering – the Hyundai ix20. One up from a tease and not quite a reveal, Hyundai has sent us a sketch of the ix20 which will debut at the Paris Motor Show in a  few weeks time. Mazda gave its Mazda6 its world debut today at the 2012 Moscow auto show. The Mazda6, which is the production version of the Mazda Takeri concept first seen at the Tokyo motor show last year, follows the automaker's new ‘KODO - Soul of Motion' design language. The Mazda6, which measures in at 4,800mm long, 1,840mm wide, 1,450mm high with a wheelbase of 2,830mm, features the ‘signature wing' - an element of the new design language - set into the front, while the creases extending from the tips flow into body character lines.

Transportation Department clinics to test connected-vehicle communication

Usually communication between cars on the road consists of expletive-ridden road rage or “hey, your headlight’s out!” Thanks to new technology, the exchange of information could soon be far more productive. The U.S. Department of Transportation has announced that it will be holding Driver Acceptance Clinics in six cities across the country to assess how well drivers respond to vehicle-to-vehicle communication technology.
