TRANSMISSION OIL COOLER, Hayden Heavy Duty Coolers, (OC-1290)

These coolers are designed for rugged heavy duty applications. They can be used for many different cooling applications.  These include, transmissions fluids, engine oil, gear boxes, hydraulic oils and diesel fuel applications.  The Hayden Heavy Duty Coolers feature brazed copper tubes with aluminum fin construction.  Turbulators in every tube provide 3 1/2 times more cooling surface than bare tubes.

The Hayden OC-1290 comes with three mounting parts included in the kit. The size of this cooler is: 18 3/4" height, 24" length, 1 1/2" thickness.  The fitting size is a female 3/4" NPT,  and the flow range in gallons per minute is 4.5 - 36 gpm.

The cooling BTU/HR @2500 fpm Airflow @100 degree F, Oil to Air is, 42,200 - 66,400

1. HEAVY DUTY ADD-ON coolers are used in-series with the OEM cooler

2. HEAVY DUTY REPLACEMENT coolers are used for total transmission when water radiator is overloaded

as in the case of heavy converter operation (long uphill pulls)

3. HT SERIES TRANSMISSIONS require the use of a temperature control valve. Contact Hayden factory

for assistance.

4. Retarder applications should be referred to the factory for assistance.

5. RUBBISH TRUCK consider using off-highway selections.

6. If space available, use off-highway selection for slow-moving on highway.

NOTE, with any cooler application, know your required flow (gpm) of your transmission, engine or any other application to get the correct cooler.  If you install a cooler with no enough flow, you will burn up the equipment that you are trying to cool off.

Toyota to end Australian manufacturing in 2017

When Holden announced that it would no longer build cars in Australia after 2017, that country’s flagging automotive industry was effectively put on notice -- Mitsubishi had stopped building cars there in 2008, and Ford says its two plants there will close in October 2016. Now Toyota has announced that it has no option but to end vehicle Australian vehicle production. Like Holden, it will close its factories there in 2017.
