The Trick Performance Products TPP-00011 RPM WINDOW SWITCH is a 2 channel RPM activated window switch (RPMWS) with an integrated throttle-position activation switch (TPAS). The unit accepts most tach signals, including low-voltage and irregular signals such as those found on many V-10s. The TPAS accepts all analog throttle-position sensor signals as well as a hot or grounded wide-open-throttle (WOT) switch.

Both channels have their own settable ON and OFF points, and each has its own multi-gear lockout feature, which allows it to be turned off until you have cycled through the window. The internal TPAS can be configured to prevent the RPMWS channels from activating unless you are at WOT.

Requires 9~18 volts to operate correctly. The output lines switch ground when activated (ON) and have a maximum current rating of 1 amp. All this and only the size of a spark plug box.

The TPP-00011 RPM WINDOW SWITCH is built for the racing environment to withstand heat, vibration, dirt and water. It is designed to operate over the temperature range from -40 to +185 degrees Fahrenheit (-40 to +85 degrees Celsius).

Features:
2 independent channels
Integrated wide-open-throttle detection
Each channel has a multi-gear lock-out setting
User configurable for rising or falling TPS signal
Supports low voltage tach signals as low as 3 volts
Works with irregular tach signals such as V10 and 3cyl
Push-button programming with integrated LED digital display
Compact rugged, waterproof design

This unit is used and was removed in fully functioning condition from a 2004 GTO after I decided to eliminate the nitrous setup.  I will include a physical copy of the instructions with this item.   These are popular among the LS engine crowd, but can be adapted to work on almost anything.

By Ben Pulman First Official Pictures 30 July 2007 10:23 What’s that, a Lancer hatch? Not quite, though the front does have a strong resemblance to the four-door Lancer that will land in the UK at the start of 2008. Dubbed Concept-cX, this, show car points to Mitsubishi's possible future compact crossover in the mould of the Nissan Qashqai.

Volkswagen Golf GTE Plug-in Hybrid UK debut

Wed, 02 Apr 2014

The VW Golf GTE (pictured) gets its UK debut at the NEX next week The Volkswagen Golf GTE – which VW see as a plug-in hybrid Golf GTI – was revealed in February ahead of its debut at the Geneva Motor Show last month and is now heading for the Gadget Show Live at the NEC next week for its UK debut. With a 1.4 litre TSI petrol turbo producing 148bhp and a 101 bhp electric motor, the Golf GTE promises decent performance – 0-62mph in 7.6 seconds – daft official economy figures of 188 mpg and the ability to run on electric power only for up to 31 miles. It’s an appealing combination for a Golf that can offer city running benefits with a turn of decent performance when the mood takes, although at a price likely to be north of £30k it’s not exactly a budget buy.
