Description: The TRIMAX T3 Premium Receiver Lock (premium 5/8" receiver lock).

A receiver pin is used to secure the receptacle part of a trailer hitch (attached to a vehicle) to inserts such as ball mounts, drawbars, accessory carriers or ornamental receiver plugs. The most common receiver pins are 1/2" and 5/8" in diameter. Class II receiver hitches have 1 1/4" receptacles and use 1/2" pins. Class III, IV and some V receiver hitches have 2" receptacles and use 5/8" pins.

** NOTE - 2008-Up GM 2500/3500 HD (NBS) & Newer Model Toyota Tundras Owners. Check your hitch size, most of these vehicles are factory equipped with a 2.5" receiver hitch. This locking pin will not fit! Please see our other listing for the SXT5 locking pin.

As scooped by CAR Online, the Mini E is a pure electric car and just 500 will be built for corporate and private customers in the US, although a handful could make it to London where there is also a limited recharging infrastructure. The Mini E will only be available for one year as part of a trial and at the end all will be returned to BMW.

The magnificent Audi R8 V10 was officially launched at Detroit this week (although we brought you details on the R8 V10 over a month ago!), and it will cause some real problems for car manufacturers at this level – most noticeably Porsche. Which could be a problem, as Porsche owns Audi! Audi R8 V10 - Cheaper than we thought The R8 V10 seems something of a bargain at £99,575 OTR (or £104,665 for the R-Tronic), particularly if you compare cars with similar performance, such as the F430, which is nearly £40k more.
