This is a BINDER with copies PARTS CATALOG of British Leyland TRIUMPH and LUCAS PARTS CATALOGS. It is an interesting mix of vintage catalogs great for reference. The British Leyland shows Engine, Exhaust, Brakes, Clutches, Transmission / Drive Line, Fuel System Shocks and more. These mostly for Triumph from Spitfire to TR and Stag. There is a Zenith Stromberg Catalog No. 300. A Smiths Instrument catalog from Nisonger. Then all the LUCAS catalogs; 1948-62, 1966, 1967, 1968, 1969 and 1970. A treasure trove of information. The binder is just a generic piece. Pages inside are mostly original, not sure if some are copies. They have creases and age and use wear. Lincoln gets own design studio

Ford is creating a dedicated design studio for its luxury brand Lincoln in an ongoing bid to rejuvenate the brand and position it further apart from the core Ford offering. The new design studio will be situated in the Product Development Center in Dearborn, Michigan, with Max Wolff – recruited from Cadillac last year – charged with leading the brand in its revival efforts. Ford has also announced that it will be increasing spending on the brand, giving it unique interiors and powertrains.

Mobile phones set to be biggest roads killer

MOBILE PHONES are likely to be the number one cause of fatal collisions on the UK’s roads by 2015. The number of drivers making calls, texting and using social media while driving has risen dramatically, which has led Transport Minister Patrick McLoughlin to propose doubling the number of penalty points added to a driver’s licence if caught using a mobile phone while at the wheel. Figures from the Department for Transport show there were 378 accidents in 2012 that were directly attributed to mobile phone use, with 17 deaths recorded as a result.
