UPDATE: Hyundai Motor America contacted Autoweek on Wednesday with a statement in regard to the case: Hyundai Motor America believes this case has no merit, as our advertising is accurate and in full compliance with applicable laws and regulations. So the European Parliament has decided that by 2019 new models of electric vehicle will have to make a noise in cities, and that by 2021 all new hybrids and electrics must be noisy too.

Terry Karges to replace Buddy Pepp as executive director of the Petersen Museum

Terry Karges will take over as executive director of the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles on Aug. 15, replacing Buddy Pepp, who is retiring after more than two years on the job. Karges brings four decades of automotive, entertainment and motorsports management experience to the Petersen.
