"The perfect gift for the TRIUMPH enthusiast with a passion for classic 1970's motorcycles."

This is a newly printed poster of a classic TRIUMPH T120 650cc Unit Construction BONNEVILLE. The Oil in Frame Bonnie was first introduced amongst much fanfare for the 1971 season and ran till replaced with the larger displacement T140 750cc Bonneville in 1973. Although criticised for its tall frame it has impeccable handling with the rigidity provided by the large diameter tube forming the spine of the frame. Frtiz Egli used this idea in the production of his VINCENT specials and the new Hinckley TRIUMPH concern readopted the spine frame idea with their modern triples and fours. NOTE: Original artwork is part of a private collection and has been scanned and professionally restored with a sophisticated graphics program and then printed on a commercially rated machine. So you're NOT getting something that has simply been downloaded from the Internet and printed with consequent low resolution and poor detail on a cheap and nasty desktop printer!.

This is a GREAT poster! and most suitable for framing. Non-fade colour fast ink has been used to create this print on heavy stock gloss art paper in an A3 size (42cm x 30cm or approx 18" x 12").

Check out British classic cars from The Queen's English

Mon, 28 Apr 2014

Some years, they get real English weather at The Queen's English car show, a gathering of the Empire's best (and few still running) British cars. Even though it's held in Van Nuys, in sunny Southern California, it has been rained out three of the last six or so years, with only a handful of hearty Land Rovers showing up and peeping out of their SUVs beneath bumbershoots. But this year was all glorious sunshine, the likes of which might never have been seen back in Jolly Old.

Toyota FT-86G concept (2010) first pictures

Mon, 18 Jan 2010

This is Toyota’s FT-86G, the second concept in quick succession from the Japanese car manufacturer that previews a rear-wheel drive sports coupe coming in 2011. Unveiled at the Tokyo Auto Salon, the latest FT-86 show car has a sleeker and more aggressive look, after the more rounded and shapely lines of the concept revealed at the 2009 Tokyo motor show. The looks are the major departure, with the new lines giving the 'G' a much sharper set of metalwork.

Aston Martin V12 Vantage and DBS Carbon Black Editions: first official pictures

Fri, 18 Dec 2009

Aston Martin has unveiled rather aggressive-looking special versions of its V12 Vantage and DBS supercars, under the Carbon Black Edition banner. No prizes for guessing they're black and laced with carbonfibre trinkets. The Carbon Black Edition V12 Vantage and DBS are coated with black metallic paint that takes 50 man-hours to apply, says Aston.
