ONE USED OVERDRIVE TRANSMISISION FOR A SPITFIRE THIS UNIT CAME OUT OF A NONE RUNNING CAR, SO DID NOT DRIVE WITH IT. TYPICALLY THE OVERDRIVE THEMSELVES ARE GOOD. SOMETIME THE TRANSMISSIONS NEED WORK, THOUGH THIS CAR WAS VERY NICE WITH ONLY 46K MILES ON IT. IT WAS A '78. IT WILL FIT IN A '71-80 SPITFIRE IT COMES IN THE CONDITION IT CAME OF THE CAR. WE HAVE NNOT CLEANED IT UP TO MAKE IT LOOK LIKE IT IS NEW OR REBUILT. IT IS AS IS. HAVING AN OVERDRIVE IN A SPITFIRE IS VERY NICE...SO MUCH BETTER ON THE FREEWAY.

But at the Sepang Track in Malaysia this morning, Lewis Hamilton had no such problems and was ahead of the pack from lights to flag to take a convincing win for Mercedes, 17.3 seconds ahead of his team mate Nico Rosberg in second place with reigning champion Sebastian Vettel trailing in third. An impressive Mercedes one-two in Kuala Lumpur.
