Bugatti Galibier 'will be a hybrid' - Wolfgang Durheimer
Mon, 18 Apr 2011Bugatti 'will continue to produce the worlds fastest car' Bugatti will launch the 16C Galibier limousine shown in 2009 as a concept car, the new president and CEO Wolfgang Durheimer has confirmed to CAR. The Galibier will eventually be part of a two-strong Bugatti range, meaning there's life in the hypercar brand post-Veyron. In a wide-ranging interview in the new May 2011 issue of CAR Magazine, Durheimer revealed that the Galibier would carry over the Veyron's monstrous W16 engine and transmission, but that Bugatti is developing a hybrid option to make sure its big limo retains social acceptability.
Google Glasses driver has ticket torn up

Cecilia Abadie was stopped by police in California who said the Google Glass digital spectacles fell foul of laws banning drivers from watching TV when behind the wheel. Called the Volvo ES Concept, it’s the third and final design study from Volvo’s new chief designer Thomas Ingenlath, who’s been pinched from Volvo rival VW to pen a sharp and sexy new range of Swedish metal to take on the dominant Germans. We’ve seen Ingenlath’s idea of a BMW 4-series-sized coupe, and an XC90-previewing SUV.
