WE are a small independent British Italian and Swedish Car parts company founded in 1980. We had a huge salvage yard and have parted out almost 1,500 cars since 1980. Matthews Foreign Car Parts also has a Giant inventory of NEW, NOS, REBUILT and used parts. We moved are salvage operation to a 40,000 square foot warehouse were everthing is stored. We only keep about 15-25 cars around strip them down and label the parts and store them in giant rooms. The warehouse used to be a MEAT PACKING PLANT. Tesla Model S first EV to earn high praise from Consumer Reports
Thu, 09 May 2013Tesla Motors Inc.'s all-electric Model S sports car received the highest score in Consumer Reports' ratings -- a 99 out of 100 -- along with widespread plaudits from the magazine's automotive testing staff. The magazine said the $89,650 EV it tested "performed better, or just as well overall, as any other vehicle -- of any kind -- ever tested by Consumer Reports." The last vehicle to achieve a score of 99 in the magazine's testing was the Lexus LS 460L, which was tested in 2007. The Model S, which went on sale in 2012, also marks the first time any electric vehicle has earned a score that high, the magazine said Thursday.
Lexus, Subaru, Mazda score highest Consumer Reports' rankings
Tue, 26 Feb 2013Japanese brands, led by Lexus, Subaru and Mazda, continue to dominate Consumer Reports' rankings of the best light vehicles on the market, claiming "top pick" honors in seven out of 10 product segments and capturing the top seven spots for overall brand reliability and performance. The brands that scored best on the magazine's report cards for 2013 were Lexus, with a score of 79 out of 100, followed by Subaru and Mazda, which both scored a 76. Toyota, Acura, Honda and Scion rounded out the top seven.
