Over the next few weeks I’m going to be auctioning off more stuff from a Triumph TR3B that I am in the process of putting back together.  These came off the car, that was running and in good shape when parked 16 years ago in a dry garage.  As I remove items I decide whether to keep or sell, with the sold items paying for new stuff, so your hard-earned funds are doing good when you win one of my auctions!  That’s my story and I’m sticking to it….

This is the steering box and shaft, lower and upper, that came with the car.  It is still in good condition, I’m just going a different direction with the steering mechanism.  There are about 7 pieces here – the lower shaft and box, upper shaft, upper tube shaft rides in, three parts that make up the firewall bracket which supports the upper shaft, and the shaft junction.

Shipping weight on this will be about 20 lb and will be lovingly packed & shipped via USPS Parcel Select domestic.  No international shipping except Canada due to size. No reserve ever and (did I mention) $0.01 starting bid – good luck and thanks for looking!

BTW – did I mention I also have a few other TR3 things going up this week for auction? – so check back for my other auctions as I get those posted.

Terms and Conditions:

Shipping: I ship USPS Parcel Select and I will include insurance and delivery confirmation free.  I will ship international via USPS Priority International Mail. If buyer wants to ship with a different shipping service I will, but will charge the corresponding shipping cost.  If you want to pick up local I’m okay with that also.

Payment by Paypal ONLY!   Please do not ask for other methods of payment since I do not accept them.

Payment  is due by the Third day after the auction concludes.  If payment has not arrived by then via Paypal, I will refer this to eBay Resolution Center.

Please do not ask me to end the auction early.  As a courtesy to those watching the item I do not end auctions early unless I screwed up.

Warrantee - this is sold as-is, no warrantee or guarantee given or implied.  I do have a 14-day return policy - if this is not as described here you have two weeks to notify me you are returning it, and I ask you return it in the same shape as you received it. You’ll get purchase price and shipping back.

If there is a problem with the item CONTACT ME – thanks again for looking.

VW Sharan MPV (2010) at Geneva motor show

Mon, 01 Mar 2010

This is the new Volkswagen Sharan, and it’s about time too - the original was launched in 1995. In the time it’s taken VW to replace the Sharan, Ford has ditched its Sharan-based Galaxy, launched a new version using S-Max and Mondeo parts, and facelifted it. We’ve all laughed at the geriatric Saab 9-5, but for the mighty Volkswagen Group this seems like a serious oversight.
