Whip antennas on boats often don't hold up due to moisture, UV, and vibration. The Tune Trapper Antenna was
designed to be hidden and mounted anywhere in the hull or in any compartment or on deck. Mount vertical or
horizontal or just drop it behind your radio. The TT no ground plane design works well on all vehicles - especially
fiberglass boats, cars, and RV's where a good ground plane isn't present. The TT also performs in aluminum craft -
just provide 3/4" offset from solid metal. Most vertical whip antennas are a 1/4 wave ground plane. The Tune
Trapper is a full 1/2 wave helical dipole wound with solid copper wire and requires no ground or power. Each TT is
hand tuned to resonance with the FM band (88-108MHz) using special instruments to maximize FM reception across the
entire band. It also handles AM, WeatherBand, and HD.The unique PVC housing is sealed for harsh marine use.
Tune Trapper Marine Antenna
The Tune Trapper Antenna is Hand Made in the USA. Each electrical connection is soldered for performance and
durability. Components are top quality - the cable is 95% copper braid shielded to eliminate EMI noise. Each
antenna is individually tested to make sure all your tunes are trapped whether at the dock or offshore. The antenna
is 24" long x 1/2" in diameter with a center mount equipped with 3M mount tape or secure with tie wraps. The 6 foot
cable is terminated with a standard Motorola type connector to plug directly into your radio.

Ssangyong LIV-1 SUV: Seoul Motor Show
Mon, 01 Apr 2013Ssangyong has rolled out yet another SUV Concept at its home motor show in Seoul – the Ssangyong LIV-1 SUV. The Ssangyong LIV-1 SUV is another new SUV concept from Ssangyong (we’ve had the SsangYong SIV-1 at Geneva and the e-XIV EV Concept at Paris in the last six months) with a catchy little moniker, this one a ‘Limitless Interface Vehicle, which sets the bar quite high. The LIV-1 does have a better looking nose than any of Ssangyong’s current crop of production cars (well, certainly than the Rexton and Rodius) although it does look like the designers were competing to see how many creases they could add to the bodywork of the LIV-1.

Lotus announces Evora Sports Racer
Thu, 20 Dec 2012When one hears the phrase “Lotus sports racer,” the classic Eleven comes to mind, especially in either raw aluminum or British racing green. Others might recall George Follmer's Lotus-Porsche, a Fuhrmann-powered beastlet of a 23 that won the US Road Racing Championship in 1965. This is not that.
