The Golf Estate follows pretty much the same specification form as the Golf hatch, with all Estates (the entry level model is the Golf Estate S) getting Bluetooth, iPod connectivity, DAB with 5.8″ touchscreen, XDS E-Diff, and VW’s automatic post-collision braking system. Move up to the Golf Estate SE and you can add stuff like 16″ alloys, auto lights and wipers, driver alert, pre-crash, ADC with Front Assist and City Braking, driver profile selection and a set of reading lights in the back.
Iconic rally-winning Ford Escort Cosworth confirmed for Goodwood

The car, decked out in the iconic Michelin Pilot livery, will feature on Michelin's own stand at the show and will give people a once-in-a-blue-moon chance to get up close. Driven by Malcolm Wilson OBE, the Team Principal of the M-Sport World Rally Team, the iconic Michelin Pilot Escort RS Cosworth dominated the 1994 British Rally Championship.
Mercedes shows the future of crash protection

Ostensibly an S400 Hybrid, the car showcases the very latest Mercedes safety technology, some of which will be in mainstream models soon, and some of which is, frankly, pure fantasy mollycoddling. The concept will be officially unveiled next week, but CAR has already been to the company’s Stuttgart base for a sneak preview.
