Self-Sharpening happens when the steel of the runner wears down (Exposing the Carbide).
The same as when you sharpen a lead pencil. Since the carbide is harder, it wears less and the steelon carbide sides wear a little more. This is especially so, when you cross roads and gravelly or paved areas. The runners always sharpens itself as you ride. The runners also lasts much longer than standard carbides due to the length of the carbide in the runner ( Save money, less replacements, more security) U-Blade Carbide Runner 7.5'' Arctic Cat Crossfire/T500/570 More Model 07 to 2009 BUY IT NOW: $219.99 Auto-Sharpening Aggressive Runners

Four-door BMW 4-series Gran Coupe revealed in renderings?
Fri, 27 Dec 2013Another day, another upcoming car revealed thanks to a leaked patent filing -- and another BMW model variant to memorize: f30post.com has renderings of what looks to be the four-door BMW 4-series Gran Coupe, originally posted at the Chinese-language site autohome.com.cn. No, your eyes do not deceive you, nor are you going crazy. This is, or at least appears to be, a four-door version of the car that BMW created as the dedicated two-door replacement for the now-discontinued 3-series coupe.

The fourth in the 'Nagare' series that explored the idea of 'Flow, it lined up on the Mazda stand with its older brothers for the first time, and was understandably a most impressive display and one of the highlights of this show. Here's what Nick Hull had to say about the Taiki at the time.
One Lap of the Web: Diesels, Deadmau5, Excalibur and Excelsior!
Mon, 03 Feb 2014-- It's the 50th anniversary of Excalibur, the company with fine craftsmen who keep the neoclassical motoring dream alive, or in some vaguely zombielike semblance thereof. And while the Excalibur's retro vibes arose from the mausoleum of the Mercedes-Benz SSK, Hemmings has discovered Brooks Stevens's other neoclassic: the Excalibur 35X, meant to look like a Bugatti Type 35. Just 27 were built in Italy on the chassis of Opel Commodores, fitted with inline-sixes.
