I bought this engine new in 1983, used it as a pusher engine for approximately 75 hours on a Mitchell Wing over a period of several years.  It never gave me any problems, always ran without a hiccup.  I have not started the engine for about 30 years.  It does turn over, so its not frozen.  This is a 300 cc, two stroke, electric start, two cylinder opposed Italian engine.  It weighs 48 lbs and comes with all the original documentation.  I only ship to lower 48 states. Shipping cost varies, up to about $170 for long distance, not included in

The March 11 earthquake in Japan could force Nissan to delay the start of U.S. production of its Leaf electric vehicle, now scheduled for late 2012. “The earthquake is putting us in a very difficult situation,” said Hideaki Watanabe, head of Nissan's Global Zero Emission Vehicle Business Unit.

Local Motors XC2V design competition winners announced

The winners of the Local Motors XC2V design competition have been announced. Created in partnership with the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), the brief called for individuals to co-create a vehicle body design for two different missions – Combat Reconnaissance and Combat Delivery & Evacuation – based on Local Motors' tubular steel chassis. The goal was to create a fast, lightweight, highly capable vehicle that would be suitable for various field missions.

Northumbria University's Transportation Design undergraduate degree course has gained a strong reputation over its relatively short history. Once an entirely independent course, it is now more closely aligned with the Design School's highly regarded Industrial Design program. This year, 16 students displayed a wide range of projects from traditional automotive designs through to more product design work as disparate as storage and even a publishing solution.
