Hydraulic Hand Brake System is a necessity for any drift or rally vehicle. The lever can be used in either a normal or upright position by simply changing the handle position by undoing one bolt. Drifting and rally driving requires extensive use of the handbrake, and eliminates the weaknesses in standard cable type handbrakes. This hydraulic handbrake requires a lot less force to lock the rear brakes when desired.

Bentley Arnage replacement to take on Rolls Royce

Bentley's replacement for the Arnage in 2010 will go upmarket to compete with the Rolls Royce Phantom Bentley has revealed that after Arnage production finally ends in September it will be a full year before the replacement for the Arnage surfaces. Now the sceptics amongst us may put this down to the fact that Bentley are struggling to sell the cars they already make in the current climate, never mind producing an even more luxurious and expensive model. But Bentley say it’s so they can put a clear line under the current Arnage before its replacement arrives late in 2010.

Toyota increases U.S. prices an average of 1.7 percent on most models

Toyota Motor Sales U.S.A. Inc., coping with a rising yen and an earthquake-shattered supply chain, announced price increases today that average 1.7 percent for many 2011 Toyota, Scion and Lexus models. The increases range from $65 for the small imported Scion xD, to $900 for two of its larger vehicles, the Toyota Land Cruiser and Sequoia SUVs, as well as several Lexus models.

Kustom kar kings' Dean Jeffries dead at 80

UPDATED: Dean Jeffries, a contemporary of California's great kustom kar kings in the early 1950s, who would go on to fame making cars for TV and movies, died Sunday, May 5 at 80. Jeffries grew up in Lynwood, Calif., across the street from Indy racer Troy Ruttman and around the corner from Sam and George Barris' shop. He spent his days hanging around the greats: George Cerny, Von Dutch and Big Daddy Roth.
