Offered is an unknown seat adjuster slide that was welded onto the passenger side bucket-seat base in a '64 Chevy-van. 

UNKNOWN MAKE -fairly sure it was not OEM to the 1964 Chevy-van donor it was welded into. (?)  (For what it is worth the seat attached to it was a 1974 Chevy Nova bucket seat)

FORD??   -   Possibly 50's or 60's Ford or Mercury due to its similar design.

DIMENSIONS:
TOTAL LENGTH --  17-3/4 inches
BASE HOLES   ~16-3/4 inches (on center)
SEAT BOLT HOLES     ~15-11/16 inches (on center)

MARKINGS  -  Has an M or W (manufacturer?) ...on the dog mechanism (pic 2)

GRINDER DAMAGE - Had to grind it off the Nova bucket-seat base so has some deep grooves in the steel.

DOG --- Dog pivots well and its spring has good tension.

TIE WIRE -- Has a 22-1/2" ridged tie wire (but is not pictured) ... was hooked into the center hole in the dog .....half? of the connection to the driver-side seat adjuster lever/handle.

The teaser image, released ahead of Pebble Beach, hints at the huge changes engineers have made to the more powerful, tracksuited P1.

Tour de France improve cycle safety

THE TOUR DE FRANCE, which starts in Yorkshire for the 2014 race, has helped increase cycle safety awareness by 90%. Cyclists report car drivers are being more patient and giving them more space on the road in the build-up to the biggest cycling race in the world. A survey by ColinAppleyard.com found 90% of drivers say they are more of cyclist because of Le Tour, while 73% of drivers said they are now more careful around cyclists.The arrival of the Tour de France has also made 10% of drivers consider buying a bike.

VW shows improved Taigun concept in New Dehli

Volkswagen is closer to entering the mini-SUV market after revealing a new Taigun concept in New Dehli, India on Wednesday. The second version of the concept gets a new trunk lid and a spare tire that is mounted on the outside of the tailgate. The compact Taigun measures only 151.9 inches long, 68 inches wide and 61.8 inches tall.
