Used 1992-Up Yamaha XJ600 Seca II Instrument Panel

The Product: This item is a used 1992-Up Yamaha XJ600 Seca II Instrument Panel. We do not know if this instrument panel will fit any other years or models.

Research: We received this instrument panel as being labeled to fit a 1992-Up Yamaha XJ600 Seca II from a buyout that we did of a motorcycle salvage shop. Our parts manager inspected the instrument panel and stated that he believes it is correctly labeled.  We have no way to verify this information; therefore, we suggest that you compare your instrument panel to what you see in the pictures before purchasing it.

Layout of Pictures: The first picture is of the front of the instrument panel. The second picture is of the back of the instrument panel. The third and fourth picture is of damage. The fifth picture you can see where this was labeled as being off of a 1992-Up Yamaha XJ600 Seca II.

Condition: There are 27.4 miles showing on the odometer.  The tripometer rolled the numbers when used. The speedometer was tested by taking an old speedometer cable end and inserting it into the speedometer and twisting the cable by hand. The speedometer needle moves. Unfortunately we are unable to check the accuracy of those components. Although the needles moved, we do not know if the instrument is accurate without mounting it on a bike. We currently do not have one of those bikes in stock. Since the indicator lights and gauges are electronic and we do not have a motorcycle to connect this to, we were unable to test those components. The condition is used. The connectors look good.  The trip reset works. The cowling has large scrapes and gouges and marked with a 1 as seen in the third picture.  The two mounting bolts missing from the back and marked with a 2 as seen in the fourth picture.  When you receive this item you can mount it on your motorcycle to make sure that it is functioning properly. If the item is not functioning properly and you are not satisfied, you can return it per our return policy which says that we will refund the purchase price only and you are responsible for all shipping cost both to and from.

First Sight: Mini

Mon, 14 Aug 2006

The first 'New' Mini was launched just five years ago, replacing the original Mini that had changed only in detail since its 1959 debut. Designed by Frank Stephenson, now head of design at Fiat, the current design has been a sales success and most significantly has been very influential in demonstrating how small cars need not be explicitly functionalist, smaller versions of larger car types or feel cheap. The new 'New' Mini, designed under the direction of Gert Hildebrand at Mini, is announced today with exterior design by Marcus Syring, interior design by Marc Girard and colour and trim design by Annette Baumeister.

Jaguar XFR Review: Conclusion

Mon, 27 Jul 2009

Jaguar XFR Review - The Conclusion The fact is that the XFR overshadows the offerings from the German triumvirate – BMW, Audi and Mercedes. It offers performance that is pretty much the equal of them all, but delivers that power in a seamless and effortless manner. Its handling is sublime and its huge reserves of torque flatter the driver.
