General Motors Europe opens new Design Center
Fri, 12 May 2006Being a car designer is often percieved as a glamourous occupation, but few people realise that this typically means working in some of the least inspiring places. Wolfsburg, Detroit and Birmingham are just a few of the locations that are home to some of the largest populations of car designers around the world. GM Europe's location in Russelsheim, Germany is also one of the less glamourous locations but the new design center building opened this week aims to redress the otherwise rather industrial feel of the place where tomorrow's Opels and Saabs are created.
Honda continues with winning formula for CR-V
Fri, 31 Aug 2012Honda published the details of the 2013 CR-V small SUV on Friday. It was revamped last year so it basically carries on with minor changes. The CR-V is among the best-selling SUVs in America and will get more than 30 mpg on the highway from a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine with 185 hp and 163 lb-ft of torque.
Concept Car of the Week: Citroën C-Metisse (2006)

The previous 'C-' range of concepts that started in 2002 with the C-Airdream, swiftly followed by the C-Airlounge and C-Sportlounge. But there's a feeling that the this fourth car in the series was the one that showed the PSA design team at its flamboyant best.
