Up for sale is a used radio/cd/dvd player that came out of a 2008 Suburban LTZ because it was upgraded to a full touch screen display unit because I wanted bluetooth. Truck had the Bose system with rear overhead entertainment system. The radio works great. It plays CDs, DVDs, and has the AUX connection in the front of the unit to connect MP3 or iPod. Radio is Sirius XM ready. I am not certain if it will need to be reprogrammed or not. Great radio at a great price!

Wild Mazzanti Evantra supercar debuts

Mon, 24 Feb 2014

“The creation of each Evantra is a unique and emotional experience for those who participate in the project such as for the client who follows the birth of the car in each phase. Evantra V8 was not born to please everyone, instead to be herself and to generate emotions with her character and exclusivity.” That slightly broken piece of English is the refrain from Luca Mazzanti, CEO of Mazzanti Automobili. Its Evantra supercar made an appearance online before next month's Geneva motor show.

Bedford Autodrome to get Ariel Atoms for 2012

Thu, 15 Dec 2011

Corporate track-days at the Bedford Autodrome will get lairier in 2012 - Somerset-based Ariel has announced it’ll supply ten cars for the PalmerSport track-day events next year. Stopping short of the unhinged Atom V8, the PalmerSport-spec cars get the normally aspirated 245bhp Civic Type-R engine, and some key changes to set it aside from the Joe-Public Atom. The Palmer-spec car will get a Sadev paddle-shift sequential gearbox, which swaps ratios in 60 milliseconds, whilst some choice chassis mods optimise the Atom for its full-time track-toy brief.

Dealers' clunkers filing deadline extended

Tue, 25 Aug 2009

The Transportation Department has extended the cash-for-clunkers filing deadline again, to 8 p.m. EDT tonight after reporting that its computer system for dealers "has been fully operational overnight." In an e-mail to the National Automobile Dealers Association that was confirmed by Transportation spokeswoman Jill Zuckman, the Obama administration said, "The system will be closed to new submissions" after 8 p.m. It was the second deadline extension since last Thursday because of Transportation's computer outages.
