College Exhibition: Braunschweig University of Art Show 2006

Transportation Design students from Braunschweig University of Art in Germany presented their work at the 2006 graduation show held in July. The show displayed final thesis projects as well as internship and sponsored projects from the last term. The diploma projects included: eXplorius - Hydrofoil Sailing Yacht Arnold Freidling This mobility concept introduces hydrofoil technology into the sailing yacht class and presents an innovative approach within the traditional sailing yacht field.

Petrol prices reach three-year low

PETROL PRICES are at a three-year low, with Yorkshire and Humberside remaining the cheapest area, according to figures from the AA. But the good news for drivers is offset by a real-terms dip in earnings which has pushed wages back to 2002 levels adjusting for inflation, the AA added. The new Jaguar XE will be revealed in London in September The new Jaguar XE – the new smaller Jaguar that aims to take the fight to cars like the BMW 3 Series and Mercedes C Class – will be revealed in London on 8th September, and Jaguar are promising the new XE will be “true sports saloon with class-leading dynamics, refinement and technology”. Jaguar want us to see the XE as a spiritual successor to the Mark II Jaguar, a car that redefines the sports saloon and is a proper drivers car. It’s a big aim, but it looks to have a lot of promise.
