Lamborghini jammed between two cars after traffic light take off fail (video)

Tue, 15 May 2012

Lamborghini Gallardo traffic light fail A show-off driver of a Lamborghini Gallardo gets his comeuppance after losing control as he takes off from traffic lights. You won’t be surprised to learn that we have no problem with drivers of supercars; in our book, if you can afford it then enjoy it. Fiat 500 gets Stop-Start

Fri, 06 Feb 2009

Flavour of the month, stop-start, and here’s another to add to the list. The Fiat 500 gets Start&Stop (I’ve lost count of the different monikers) as an option on the 1.2 Lounge, using Bosch technology to beef up the system to make it reliable. The Stop/Start also gets another Fiat moniker – Blue&Me – which gives the driver EcoDrive to aid emissions and adds hands-free phone and an entertainment system.

Porsche 911 GT3 RS (2010) bows in

Wed, 19 Aug 2009

The 2010 Porsche 911 GT3 RS will be at the Frankfurt Motor Show As you can probably guess, the first thing the latest GT3 RS gets is a hike in power, courtesy of the move from the old naturally aspirated 3.6 litre to the 3.8 litre you get in the new 911 Turbo, minus the turbos. But that still gives you 450bhp – up 15bhp on the regular GT3 – all of which gets shoved through a shorter ratio six-speed manual box. No nancy-boy paddles shifters here.
