Schreyer is the first non-Korean to hold the position within the company and one of the highest-ranking designers in the history of the industry. The two-door BMW Gran Lusso took center stage at the 2013 Villa d'Este Concourso d'Eleganza in Italy last weekend. The Pininfarina-designed, V12-equipped coupe could herald the return of the company's mighty 8-series Bimmers that rolled the streets in the 1990s. Pininfarina posted two videos of the BMW Gran Lusso on its YouTube channel on Wednesday.

Ken Okuyama Design is heading to the Tokyo motor show with what promises to be a real treat of a two-seat sports car. The Kode9 coupé, as teased in a behind-the-scenes video, follows on from the Kode7 first shown in 2008 and, if the video is any indication, this voluminous, 1960s-inspired creation will continue that car's attention to delightful detail. And who doesn't love a car with a vertical tail fin?
