Ksport Kontrol Pro Fully Adjustable Coilover Kits provide the ultimate in suspension technology for your street or track car. 36 levels of damping adjustment allow you to fine tune the ride to your handling and comfort needs. The damping adjusts compression and rebound simultaneously for ease of adjustment. Pillow ball top mounts in the front and rear on some applications allow you to maintain vehicle manufacturer suspension geometry design. The pillow ball top mounts also allow you a more direct feel for solid driver response. Where available, camber can be adjusted via the Pillow-ball Top Mounts, which means no additional "Camber Kits" are needed. Most applications utilize an adjustable lower mount, which means you adjust height without losing suspension travel like some other coilover designs do. With the mounts and most pieces of the coilover being designed for 6061 billet aluminum the kit is lightweight, durable, and rust resistant. The steel shock body is electroplated with zinc to resist rust and the elements. The valving of each set is matched to the springs installed for unmatched ride quality and reliability. The Ksport system uses a Monotube design in which the oil and gas are separated within the cylinder. When compared to twin tube designs the Monotube dissipates heat better, allows finer damping adjustments, and requires more expensive design process. Aeration and cavitation are a lot less common in a Monotube design, which results in a better ride. The XJ75 Platinum Concept is the latest in a string of 75th anniversary show cars and is designed to demonstrate 'the design customisation potential' of the latest XJ - hinting at further derivatives to follow.What, you mean a new Jaguar XJR?Well, that's one interpretation. The XJ75 Platinum is based on the 464bhp 5.0-litre V8 XJL Supercharged (a US market trim with fewer horses than the full-fat UK 503bhp edition Supercharged) but adds lower front, rear and side trim panels and 22in wheels.

Thu, 06 Sep 2012The facelifted Ford Fiesta features design cues that bring it in line with the latest Ford global design language and concept vehicles. The biggest changes are to the front of the Fiesta, where its trapezoidal grille has moved further up the front mask and is flanked by new headlamps with LED daytime running lamps, as well as a new 'power-dome' hood (ironic given the new 3-cylinder, 1.0-liter engine). These changes allign it with the new Fusion/Mondeo that will also make its debut in Paris.
Bio-Fuel Skycar to go in to production
Fri, 17 Apr 2009Parajet's Skycar looks set for road-legal production in 2010 [ad#ad-1] Three months ago we brought you news on the plans of London Company Parajet International Ltd to take their Skycar on a trip to Timbuktu. Well, not only was the trip a great success – they arrived in Timbutu on 26th March – but the Skycar is now destined to go in to production next year. Bedfordshire Company Rage Motorsport, best known for producing Buggies, is to partner with Parajet to produce completely road-legal versions of the Skycar, with Rage producing the cars/buggies and Parajet adding the bits to make it fly (which makes sense!).
