The Five Ocean´s VHF heliflex antenna has been designed for short range boat to boat communications and works very well in that situation.

Because of the longer VHF wavelength, a short VHF antenna is always a compromise. We do not recommend the VHF heliflex as a permanent installation where a longer antenna can be fitted.

This is an excellent antenna for RIBS and similar vessels wishing to communicate over short distances. Use this antenna with SeaMaster Pro Mounts Find them in our eBay Store! We recommend that boats which go out further fit a 6 ft (1.8m) or 8 ft (2.5m) fiberglass antenna, or a mast mount antenna.

With an EPA-rated 40 mpg on the highway, Chevrolet is calling its 2012 Sonic one of the most fuel-efficient small cars on the market. Chevy says that 40-mpg rating puts the Sonic right on par with the 2012 Ford Fiesta and the Hyundai Accent in terms of eco-friendliness. In city driving, the 1.4-liter turbocharged Ecotec engine gets 29 mpg.
