We recently purchased the contents of a barn from a life long collector of vintage car parts. Check out our other auctions and "The Old Car Parts Store" for similar items that have been in storage for the past 40+ years.

Here is an ORIGINAL KLAXET 6 VOLT HORN DATED 1915 WITH SERIAL NO. 98156, made by Lovell - McConnell Mfg. Co. Newark, NJ. It is in fair to good used condition. There are some dings and dents here and there with the worst being on the end of the housing (see pictures). There are no splits or cracks and most of the dents could be worked out. We did bench test this unit and it makes constant noise like a motor is spinning but it does not produce a horn blowing sound. Since we know nothing about repairing old horns we are listing this item as is for parts or to restore. Please check out the pictures and ask questions before bidding. The team finished second and third in the electric class at the 2013 event, and will use the same drivers – former motorcycle class winner, Greg Tracy, and Dakar-rally winner Hiroshi Masuoka – for the 12.42-mile climb to the 14,110ft summit. The bewinged Mitsubishi i-MiEV Evolution III is 4.7m long and 1.9m wide, with an electric motor at each corner to send a total of 600bhp through all four wheels.

The Levante is the work of RS Performance, which has taken an SV chassis, stuffed a 2.4-litre supercharged V8 into the front and coated the lot in swathes of carbon fibre. The result is 550bhp in a chassis weighing little over 500kg.
