We recently purchased the contents of a barn from a life long collector of vintage car parts.  Check out our other auctions and "The Old Car Parts Store" for similar items that have been in storage for the past 40+ years.

Here is a PAIR OF VINTAGE EXTERIOR DOOR HANDLES FROM A 1933 PONTIAC.  They are in fair to good used condition.  The handle with the lock mechanism has some heavy pitting but mainly isolated to the underside and some on the front and rear sides.  The other handle has traces of micro pitting but this is very minor.  The mounting shafts are in good shape with no bends or elongated hoes at the end (nice).  I do not have the key for this but I am told that the lock mech can be rekeyed or replaced.  Overall, a fair to good driver pair that could be re-plated or use as is for a Rat Rod project.  Please check out the pictures and email us with questions before bidding.  Professional packaging guaranteed (see our feedback).  Bid with confidence and good luck.

Grand National Roadster Show rides again

So many great roadsters, only three days to ogle them. The 63rd Grand National Roadster Show opens on Friday and runs through Sunday night, when they hand out the million or so awards to just about everybody who showed up. This is the ninth year the show has been held at the L.A.

Reports that General Motors will sell Opel dismissed as 'nonsense'

German press reports that General Motors Co. is putting its European unit Opel/Vauxhall up for sale were dismissed as speculation by the division and as "nonsense" by a German state with an Opel factory. The magazines Auto Bild and Spiegel reported that GM is considering putting Opel up for sale as management is losing confidence that its European arm will return to profitability.

It’s called the Ford Shelby GT500KR, in homage to the 1968 original, and just 1000 Coupes go on sale in spring 2008. KR means King of the Road, a name GM had intended to use until Shelby got wind of it and grabbed the crown first.
