We recently purchased the contents of a barn from a life long collector of vintage car parts. Check out our other auctions and "The Old Car Parts Store" for similar items that have been in storage for the past 40+ years.

Here is a PAIR OF VINTAGE SIDE REAR VIEW MIRRORS. I believe they are from a 1957 Chrysler, but please verify your specific application and ask questions before bidding. They are in fair used condition (driver). The main flaws include some moderate to heavy pitting here and there and one of the mirrors (glass) is cracked (see photos). The other mirror has a couple of heavy scratches on the glass. There is some mild tarnish throughout but will likely buff out better yet. The mirror heads are not seized but do require sufficient effort to adjust them. I sprayed them with some WD 40 and they should loosen up more over time. Porsche, Volkswagen work out more sale details, may use Auto Union name

Porsche and Volkswagen have broadly agreed on sale terms, and the name Auto Union may be resurrected, Reuters reports. The new entity could be led by Volkswagen CEO Martin Winterkorn, and Porsche would retain some independence--similar to Audi's setup within the Volkswagen Group. Porsche would be the 10th brand in the company.

In fact they wiped the floor with just about everyone else in the ’60s, winning the Monte Carlo Rally three times in the decade.
