Positively no international shipping As seen by my ebay handle, I collect and repair these old units. I refinished the case to the original Federal grey white speckle finish. Includes printed instructions. The face is lighted and the red jeweled pilot light when you turn on the unit. It is in tip- top shape just as it was back in the 1970's, all functional tones work fine and the original mike / public address has good volume. Comes with steel bracket and stainless steel case mounting 1/4 -20 screws. If you are restoring an old police car, ambulance, hearse / combination or fire unit you need this. This unit is well worth the dollars for a tested and working unit. You will see other auctions on these ....buying from me you are not buying rusty junk from someone's garage that may or may work ....guaranteed to work and tested before shipping. If you need better pics of the front panel let me know ( I try to not show the face of the unit in pics for obvious ebay reasons). A very clean unit that will make the inside of your restoration vehicle look incredible. Very loud. You can wire up any modern 100 watt PA trumpet or Federal Dynamax speaker and it works just fine as it does here in my shop. Don't try to use a small / lower wattage speaker ( lower than 58 watts) as you will blow the speaker coil. Easiest of the Federals to wire. positive and ground wires on rear, hook up a speaker, possibly if you desire, a set of speaker wires to your 2 way radio speaker for radio rebroadcast outside the vehicle and you are set to go. If you have an old blue face or brown face Federal that needs electronic service / repair let me know, or if you like the outside re-finished case I have done, and need yours cleaned, sanded, and painted in the Federal speckled white gray finish shown, send me an email. thanks |

Hyundai puts Michel Nandan in charge of WRC effort
Mon, 14 Jan 2013Hyundai has appointed former Peugeot WRC technical director Michel Nandan to head up their assault on WRC. As Hyundai matures in to a credible mainstream force, improving brand perception is crucial to its long-term goals and 2012 is all about improving Hyundai’s brand experience and perceptions of the brand. A part of that focus is to take Hyundai back in to WRC rallying with a much modified i20, where Hyundai are hoping for a better experience than they had when they went rallying a decade ago – which should be a given considering the big strides Hyundai has made in its cars in the last few years.

Occupying a booth in the center of the upper main hall, the school showcased the Eye concept, a recent project designed by students in the Master of Arts Transportation Design program in collaboration with Tesla Motors. According to IED, the Eye concept was born out of research into the identity promoted by Tesla to achieve a new objective: designing an everyday 2+2 sports car conceived to become a status-symbol; a car with engaging features and sports car performance ideally suited to a young, cosmopolitan target demographic.
