This is the front engine cowling of a private, single-engine aircraft. This item is made of metal (aluminum). I will only sell this as wall art or a decorator item only and not for anyone to ever think of reuse on any airplane. This would make a great piece for any aviation enthusiast!  Use it as wall art in a man cave of children's room. Brackets are already installed at the top for hanging with two small nails. The piece measures 32" wide, 21.75" tall, and 5" deep. I do not know what type of plane this came off of, probably a 1946 Taylorcraft BC-12D. It looks quite old. The condition is very rough. Take a thorough look at the photos.

Book Review: Cosmic Motors

Tue, 19 Aug 2008

It is the year 8966-B in Galaxion, a distant galaxy where Daniel Simon has spent the past two years creating visions for the Cosmic Motors brand. Beginning with the Camarudo ‘one-person motion device', the former VW designer puts aside gravity to find unique forms for future vehicles, accompanied by excellent narration that develops the CoMo story and describes the techniques he used. All the vehicles in this stellar catalogue have been made into digital models with Autodesk AliasStudio - and the results are simply stunning.

Aston Martin’s 2015 Lagonda saloon revealed on way to Oman

Fri, 29 Aug 2014

By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 29 August 2014 08:13 Aston Martin’s wedgy new Lagonda super-saloon was flown to Oman for testing this week, affording us this fresh look at the Middle East-only four-door. Oman Air publicised its role in transporting this prototype out to Muscat ‘as part of its early testing programme.’ We hope it travelled first class; the Lagonda will only be offered on sale to its wealthiest clients in the region. It’s only one month since Aston Martin confirmed the Lagonda project and issued a solitary teaser image of the saloon, side-on and shrouded in shadows.

Renault Clio facelift for 2009

Thu, 05 Feb 2009

The facelifted Renault Clio for 2009 - Due to launch at the Geneva Motor Show in March As with most car makers, Renault is going for the ‘Family’ look, and has grafted a new nose on the Clio to make it look like its big brother, the Megane. So it gets a new front end with new headlights, slitty grill and an air intake at the bottom. Big play is being made of the Clio GT (which Renault says will give more people more Va Va Voom!), and these are the pictures we have here.
