Vintage Bay State R.h. Long Co. Automotive Gas Cap(?) Hub Cap(?) on 2040-parts.com
Alexandria, Ohio, United States
Up for auction is this cap-I am thinking that it went on the center of the spoked wheel-from the Bay State automobile which was produced by the R,H. Long Company in the early 1900s. The final year of production was 1926. It appears to have been made from aluminum, is threaded on the inside and measures 2 5/8" across inner diameter. I inherited two of them but until I am sure of what they are (and I would welcome any input) and what their value is I am going to list just the one for now at a CMA starting price and see what happens
