Genuine vintage CHEVROLET Instrument Dash Cluster.  Not sure what Chevy vehicle or year it came out of but definitely vintage.  The speedometer shows up to 100 mph and has 19760 on the odometer.  To the left side are the Temperature and Generator light / gauges.  To the right side are the Oil Pressure and Gasoline light / gauges.  I have no idea if any of the gauges actually work - has not been tested.  However, its parts are mechanical and not electronic.  A restoration specialist or good old fashioned mechanic could probably figure it out.  Measures 19" overall length at its base x 5 1/2" center height x 3" flat depth (not including the protrusion).  A great piece for a restoration, rat rod or hot rod project.  Or a really cool looking piece just for show in a man cave or show garage - a great tribute to the past and to Chevrolet.  Please view all photos closely (use zoom feature) as they are part of the item description, the most accurate representation of this item and its condition and the exact item you will receive.

What we drive: 1994 Mazda RX-7 R2

Fri, 20 May 2011

Blame it on the 1993 Montego blue RX-7 parked a block away from my childhood home--and the cover photo of the competition yellow mica R1 gracing one of the other monthly car magazines that year. Either way, it was 1993 when my captivation with the third-generation Mazda RX-7 caught fire. I was 10 years old.
