Vintage Dealer Brochure - Lincoln Continental - 1961 (Original)

This brochure came from my late husband's collection of vintage automobile literature.

The dealership marked on this brochure was Mitchell & Boyer, Minneapolis, Minnesota.

This has several color pictures of the Continentals of 1961.  Fun to look at the cars and the attire of the drivers and passengers back then!

There are a few spots on the cover, as you can see in the photo, but all pages are clean and intact.  The last page of this 20-page brochure shows the colors and specifications of the Continental.

Shipping via Media Mail in the U.S. for $2.50.  Other countries, please inquire before bidding.

New Smart ForTwo and ForFour set for 2014 unveil

Wed, 30 Oct 2013

Mercedes-Benz's struggling Smart city car division is seeking to add a new dimension to the urban driving experience with its third-generation ForTwo, currently undergoing the final phase of a three-year test and development program ahead of a planned unveiling mid next year. Set for North American launch in 2015, the ultra-compact two-seat hatchback represents a fresh chapter in operations for Smart, which has recently gained greater independence from parent company Mercedes-Benz as its boss, Annette Winkler, attempts to stem years of financial losses after almost a decade of rebuilding following its short-lived joint venture with Mitsubishi. The new ForTwo, known internally as project C453, has been developed in a joint engineering program with the upcoming second-generation ForFour and its sister car, the third-generation Renault Twingo.

Spyker has filed a law suit against General Motors for $3 billion for refusing to allow Saab to be sold to the Chinese. Victor Muller is not the kind of man who gives up until he’s exhausted every avenue to get what he wants. Which might explain why Spyker has just issued a $3 billion law suit against GM.

Wed, 05 Sep 2012

The LA Design Challenge has called for design studios from around the world to compete and create the ultimate law enforcement vehicle for the year 2025. Design studios from Bentley and BMW have taken up the challenge while General Motors, Honda, Hyundai and Subaru – entrants in last year's competition  – have returned in a bid to showcase their creativity and talent and be honored in this annual contest. Our world is constantly evolving as new technologies and countries rapidly develop, and as such it creates a real challenge for law enforcement as they strive to keep pace and allow them to do their jobs to the best of their ability.
