Up for auction is a vintage Dixco 800 RPM Tachometer. This tachometer can be used on a 12-volt & 6-volt systems, it comes in the factory chrome cup. This item is being sold As Is and has not been tested due to the wiring being mixed up and changed, there is writing on a piece of tape on the side of it with indications as to the placement and function of wires (see in pictures). The item also comes with a flat key to adjust the red needle.

Condition:

The item is being sold As Is and it has not been tested. The tachometer itself seems to be in good shape and only needs a little polishing, but the wires attached to it have been either cut or redirected to other wires. The needles move well although it does not come with the screw to mount it.

Aston claims the V12 Vantage racer will be pretty close to production spec, bar a revised suspension set-up, some safety modifications (a roll cage) and a reduced kerbweight (goodbye stereo system and other goodies). There are also new Pirelli P Zero slick tyres.

Drayson electric racer breaks four speed records

A BRITISH electric racing car has set four new land speed records on the same day. The Drayson Racing prototype racing car, which is powered solely by electricity, set new benchmarks for speeds over one mile and one kilometre with a flying start, plus a new standing quarter-mile acceleration record. The fourth record, subject to ratification, is a British land speed record for cars of any type driven by their wheels over one mile from a flying start.
