GMC Granite concept (w/ Video)

The biggest surprise at the 2010 NAIAS was GMC's Granite concept - a design that expands (or rather contracts) the truck/crossover brand's 'professional grade' philosophy to a compact hatchback aimed at urban hipsters and early adopters. Conceived by Frank Saucedo's Advanced Design team in California and then built at GM's Design Center in Detroit, the Granite combines the basic proportions of the Nissan Cube and Scion xB with a military/industrial feel inspired by the current G-Star and Diesel fashion lines. Ford EcoSport, Kuga, Explorer & Focus ST: Beijing 2012

Ford EcoSport debuts at Beijing Ford has debuted the EcoSport, new Kuga and Explorer SUVs as well as the new Focus ST at the Beijing Motor Show. Ford make no secret of their ambitions for the marque in China and have put on a show at Beijing with the Chinese debut of the Fiesta-based EcoSport, the new Ford Kuga, the Explorer SUV and the new Focus ST. The Ford EcoSport is the little urban warrior SUV based on the new Fiesta platform we revealed back in January when it debuted at the Delhi show.

Ford Announces Dates For 2014 Free Driver Training

FORD has revealed the latest dates and locations for its 2014 Driving Skills for Life free training programme. The programme is targeted at inexperienced drivers who have recently passed their driving test, highlighting some of the dangers they are exposed to as new drivers and how they can be minimised. This includes using a mobile phone at the wheel, managing emergencies and night and wet-weather driving.
