Booklet contains Building Instructions for the Assembly of the Float Frame ONLY - DOES NOT INCLUDE plans for the GYRO-GLIDER or GYROCOPTER - booklet shows pictures of the framing - Attachment to Airframe, Operation, Flying Instructions, and Float Installation on B-8 Gyro-Gliders (with pictures) - also a list of "Afterthoughts" - included is the Material List for 2 Floats and Maintenance - loaded with info!! Includes list of materials  - condition is a copy (unable to state that in the Ebay form) - Booklet does not have a date, though it would probably be around the 1950's - early 60's - these plans and dwgs are copies of the old (vintage) plans and dwgs from the 50's - 60's

Rare foreign cars head to Carlisle this weekend

Every spring, Carlisle, Pa., (otherwise known as the Woodstock of the classic-car hobby, a title it now fully shares with Hershey) hosts a weekend event just for foreign cars. Last year, over 1,000 cars gathered in central Pennsylvania, with rare foreign machinery making its way from all over the lower 50 and parts of Canada. The longest-traveled cars we spotted last year wore British Columbia plates, which should give you a clue as to the event's following, though we're still unsure which cars we spent the longest time gawking at.

BMW are adding xDrive as an option across the 5 Series GT range We really don’t ‘Get’ the BMW 5 Series GT. To be fair, we haven’t driven one so it’s a viewpoint from afar. But we can’t deny it fills the gap between the 5 Series Estate and the 5 Series Saloon,  we just hadn’t realised that there was a gap that needed filling.

2010 European Car of the Year shortlist announced By Ben Pulman Motor Industry 24 June 2009 18:30 Early nominations for the 2010 European Car of the Year award have been announced, and the initial list of 29 cars includes a few that aren't even on sale yet. However, the European Car of the Year organisation expects the list of nominees to expand even further, before motoring journalist from across Europe vote in September 2009 to cull the entrants and create a seven-car shortlist. The overall winner will then be announced at the end of the year.
