Although this Frantz Filter is dirty & needs cleaning, most all the parts appear to be there, and it has a nice looking canister and 'Sky Frantz Oil Cleaner' logo on the underside (photo 6). This type oil filtering system is a by-pass filter as opposed to a full-flow filter. The only parts that are included, are what you can see in the photos so any potential bidders should look them over closely. I've seen an internal spring clip with some types of these filters but there isn't one here, and this style may not have needed one. This is being sold totally as is. The entire unit is dirty & greasy and needs a thorough cleaning, plus the removal of the old toilet paper roll. The canister as seen in the last photo will be turned upside down in an oil drain pan and let any oil residue run out. It will then be sealed back up and shipped with the old oil-soaked toilet paper roll in it. Some oil residue may drip out of the toilet paper roll and be present in the canister again. I've come across a few of these filters over the years, and this one has one of the nicer canisters I've seen. As mentioned, this is being sold as is, as pictured, not ready to use and in need of some thorough cleaning.

By Richard Yarrow Motoring Issues 03 June 2007 02:32 Britain’s new eco-motoring scheme postponed Plans to help Britain’s drivers choose the greenest car for their budget have been thrown into chaos, CAR Online can reveal. The launch of a new Government website for motorists – called www.actonco2.co.uk – has been cancelled just 16 hours before it was to go live. Amazingly, the Department for Transport (DfT) has admitted the eleventh hour delay was because it realised the CO2 data to published wasn’t accurate.

Opel leaving China, but planning a car for the US

Mon, 31 Mar 2014

General Motors' Opel is withdrawing from China after several years of declining sales, with the last vehicles slated to be exported from Germany in January 2015. Opel managed to sell only 4,365 cars in China in all of 2013, compared to a staggering 810,000 Buicks, GM's most popular division in China. The lackluster sales and the planned withdrawal from China highlighted the unique demands of the Chinese domestic market, where Buick now offers almost twice the number of models as in the U.S.

Watch craftsmen build the Alfa Romeo 4C

Thu, 13 Jun 2013

Hey, remember the Alfa Romeo 4C? Maybe the long lag between the two-seater's Geneva motor show debut and the launch scheduled for later this year (to say nothing of the car's maddeningly long gestation period) has left your memory a little rusty, but the workers at the Modena Maserati plant haven't forgotten about the 4C. Need proof?
