Vintage Rear Mounted Luggage Rack Used Fair Condition Rack #1. Will fit many years and models. I have 2 of these listed on E-Bay, both in similar condition but slightly different styles and sizes. 38 1/2 inches x 14 inches platform.  Fair condition but an easy restoration or great Rat Rod part. No dents or cracks. The brackets appear complete but some components are froze together, they should come apart easily.  No soft spots but plenty of easily removed surface rust. Toyota tests chips that improve hybrid efficiency by 10 percent

Toyota announced on Tuesday that it has developed a new semiconductor, claiming it can boost fuel efficiency in hybrid cars by an impressive 10 percent. The semiconductors manage the flow of electricity through the power-control unit that connects the battery to an electric or hybrid car's motor and generator. The newly developed semiconductors are said to consume only a tenth of the energy of today's chips, while allowing the power-control unit to be 80 percent smaller.

Two thirds back young driver restrictions

TWO THIRDS of the public would like to see restrictions placed on recently qualified young drivers, according to an RAC Foundation survey. Even two in five young drivers would back a form of graduated licensing, the poll found. Those surveyed were asked whether restrictions, possibly lasting 12 months after a driving test has been passed, should be placed on drivers aged 24 or under.
