This is a vintage M&R Products brand vehicle tow hitch. Comes in two sections, one with the metal crank with a sturdy black nylon strap attached and on other end is metal hook. Other piece is woven strap with red, white & blue stripe pattern that has metal hook attached to one end. Strap attached to hitch measures 1 inch wide & 52 inches long, striped strap measures 1 3/4 inches wide & 54 inches long. Previously used, has dinginess & hooks have surface discoloration.ESSENTIAL! Aptera Motors, Elio Motors and other companies developing fuel-efficient three-wheeled vehicles got a boost from Congress this week in their quest for federal funding. Legislation to make three-wheeled vehicles eligible for Energy Department loans passed a conference committee of House and Senate leaders Wednesday and then got approval from the full House on Thursday. It is part of an energy spending bill likely to go before the Senate by next week for final congressional passage, a Senate aide said.

AN EARLY ADOPTER of Google's Internet-connected glasses plans to fight a fine for wearing the device while driving in California. She says the technology makes navigation easier than smartphones and GPS devices. Cecilia Abadie was pulled over for speeding and a California Highway Patrol officer noticed she was wearing Google Glass and added a ticket usually given to drivers who may be distracted by a video or TV screen.
