Vintage Cast Aluminum Mercedes Benz Logo Plate. Measures 12" x 6" with standard 4 hole spacing. The plate is well made and 1/4" thick. It is in excellent condition and has never been mounted. There are a few areas on the outer brushed finish part with minor discoloration. A light rubdown with 0000 steel wool will take care of it. |

CDN-Opel/Vauxhall Interactive Design Competition Enters Exterior Phase
Thu, 06 Jan 2011Car Design News is pleased to announce the finalists of the interiors phase of the Car Design News-Opel/Vauxhall Interactive Design Competition. Pierin Giacomo of the Istituto Europeo Di Design in Turin, Italy, Victor Uribe, also of IED Turin, and Chiayuan Lu of Coventry University in the UK have been named as the top three entrants in the first phase of the competition. They topped the entries received from students at 36 design schools across 18 different countries in Europe.
Audi A2 EV & A1 Range-Extender dropped
Tue, 05 Jun 2012It seems Audi is getting cold feet on its electric car plans with the Audi A2 EV and the Audi A1 Range-Extender reported to be dropped. It’s starting to look as if car makers are waking up to the reality that electric cars are not something car buyers, on the whole, want to spend their hard earned cash on. We recently reported that the BMW range of EVs is being re-thought with the BMW i3 likely to be just a range extender and plans to extend the i-BMW beyond the i3 and i8 Supercar put on ice.
