Up for auction is a Genuine Vintage Mercedes Benz Ponton Muffler for a 1950's to 1960's 220B 220SB 230 230S and 250S. My father use to sell and work on these cars back in the 1960's and bought many parts directly from the Mercedes factory and this is one of them. We have had this muffler in our garage for about 40 years and due to sitting it has accumulated some rust and shows some storage wear on the outside with a few minor dents however I believe it has never been used or even mounted on a vehicle because the inside of this muffler which is hard to see in these photos do not show any signs of use. Vintage Rolls-Royce, Aston Martin will be on display at London concours

The cars are being shown at Salon Prive, a supercar and concours gathering next week in advance of RM auctions’ sale in October. While the auction could get pricey with competitive bidding, Salon Prive will offer fans of British cars an opportunity to simply soak in these storied rides.
