Condition:Used Brand:MICKEY THOMPSON

Up for sale is a super cool vintage Mickey Thompson aluminum oil pan. This is correct for any Small Block Chevy having a drivers side dipstick. The pan is unmarked as far as emblems or logos go but the design is unique to only Mickey Thompson pans. This was probably sold in the late 60's or early 70's and not many were produced. The pan yields approximately 7 qts. It is in very nice shape considering that it is 40 years old or so. It does have some light scratches on it but nothing that wouldn't polish out. It has not been altered in any way nor has been repaired. The threads in the drain plug are also in great shape. This would be awesome on any vintage car of the era!!!!

Please check out my other parts as well.....

Fiat turn naked women in to a 500 Abarth (video)

Thu, 11 Jul 2013

The naked women turn in to a Fiat 500 Abarth The Fiat 500 has been, perhaps, Fiat’s biggest success story in its history, and a part of that is down to Fiat’s often very clever advertising. We’ve had everything from the ‘Motherhood‘ and ‘Fatherhood‘ videos for the 500L to the series of adverts featuring the glorious Catrinel Menghia in various states of undress. And as Fiat obviously has a penchant for the female form, it’s really no surprise that they’ve managed to feature more than a dozen naked women in a new advert for the 500 Abarth in the US.

Mini Cooper first pictures (2013) BMW’s new Mini goes back to the future

Mon, 18 Nov 2013

By Phil McNamara First Official Pictures 18 November 2013 09:00 Here comes BMW’s third new Mini since it relaunched the brand in 2001. But its appearance seems resolutely stuck in time, like John and Jackie Kennedy in Zapruder’s film of the Dallas motorcade, or like the fans who berated Bob Dylan for going electric.   There are no design surprises: the bodysides are curvy and more crisply pressed, the rear lamps supersized, otherwise the floating roof, wraparound chrome piping and wheel-at-each corner stance are all present and correct. ‘We need to be careful,’ BMW Group design director Adrian van Hooydonk told CAR.

Video: Michael Mauer on the 991-series Porsche 911

Tue, 08 May 2012

Porsche has released a video featuring its Design Director, Michael Mauer, explaining how he and his team went about redesigning the 911, an ‘automotive, engineering icon' as he describes it. "What we as designers are striving to above all is to optimize the width to height ratio with the result that although the 911's width has not increased, the front axle area has become wider, and we've managed to make the roof a bit lower," Mauer explains via a rather dramatic-sounding voiceover.
