Early automotive .. tractor .. car .. motorcycle .. rat rod .. hot rod .. etc .. lamp .. light Five Inch lens with mounting bracket .. weighs just under three lbs before packaging .. has a built in mirror (2.250") and a on/off switch which would probably make it originally used for a motorcycle.
Has a name plaque which reads: "THE WOOD MFG CO. FAIRFIELD CONN. NEW TYPE MODEL 102-M PAT'D"

Looks like someone converted it to 110V household current which could easily be switched back to 6V.

Pick-ups do poorly in latest Euro NCAP tests

By Mark Nichol Motor Industry 26 February 2008 11:54 Euro NCAP released its latest crash test results today, and it’s bad news for pick-up drivers. Only three picks-ups were tested, but they achieved some appalling results, with the Nissan Navara registering just one star for adult crash protection. Pick-up registrations increased by 7.2 percent in Europe last year and are increasingly being used as family transport.

Toyota has slipped behind competitors in drivetrain technology and now must play catch-up against the likes of Ford, Hyundai and Mazda. Much of Toyota's lag stems from engineering resources being diverted by the unintended acceleration crisis and other quality miscues in the past two years. Now expect Toyota to focus more on turbocharging and direct injection, and it may even bring a couple of diesels to the United States as part of midcycle changes.

Eponymous founding father Enzo set up in Modena in 1929 as the Scuderia race team, and it wasn't unitl 1947 that the first road cars appeared. Since then, virtually every model has come to define the contemporary supercar, although there have been some duds along the way too.
