Here I have a vintage 1970's set of auto rear bumper mount motorcycle, moped, or bicycle wheel carriers.  These are meant to have a top bracket that is missing on both that bolts to the carrier through the supplied holes and then hooks over the backside over the top of your auto or truck bumper.  you then place your moped, vespa, motorcycle wheels in these brackets and strap the motorbike down and away you go on your travels!  I have seen this type of bracket used mainly on VW things and busses as you would need a very stout bumper to carry a motorcycle or scooter.  It should be easy to have the missing brackets made from thick flat stock.  Great to take your pit bike or cruiser to shows or to the beach, etc.!  Please ask any questions before bidding, I post world wide at actual cost and try my best to give accurate rates.  Please see my other motorcycle parts, literature, parts bikes adds, and thanks for looking!

Vauxhall DROPS Lifetime Warranty – quietly during the Paris Motor Show news rush

Fri, 03 Oct 2014

Vauxhall DROPS Lifetime Warranty Vauxhall trumpeted the arrival of a Lifetime Warranty for all their new cars 4 years ago, a move that was designed to show confidence in their cars and tackle the substantial warranties on new cars offered by companies like Hyundai and Kia. But now, in a lesson doubtless learned from ‘bad news’ burying in politics, Vauxhall has revealed they’re dropping the Lifetime Warranty from 2015, no doubt hoping it won’t make headlines in the middle of the news rush from the Paris Motor Show. So now, instead of a lifetime warranty (which was really only for 100,000 miles) buyers of new Vauxhalls will get a fairly bog-standard 60,000 mile/3 year warranty.

BMW M4 Convertible revealed. Price from £60,730

Fri, 04 Apr 2014

The BMW M4 Convertible (pictured) revealed We reported last month that the new BMW M4 Convertible would debut at this year’s New York Auto Show, and here it is ahead of that debut complete with trick folding metal roof, 425bhp and a price tag that just nicks over the £60k line. A direct replacement for the old M3 Convertible, the M4 Convertible will cost you just over £4k more than the M4 Coupe, but for the extra money you get the same car but with infinite headroom – and a big weight penalty. The new 3-piece metal folding roof can be tucked away in a mere 20 seconds at the flick of a switch, with better noise insulation than the M3 Convertible had and more room in the boot when the roof is down too.
