Vintage Original 1950s Chevy Glove Box Door - Hinged, Cup Holder, Lock on 2040-parts.com
Mastic Beach, New York, United States
This is from a 1956 or 1957 Chevy. Not sure what other years it fits. It is the glove box door. It is hinged but hinge is frozen. Has spots for 3 cups when opened. Original lock - no key.
Measures 14 1/2 inches across. Has rust but no dents that I could see. Please feel free to ask questions or request more pictures if needed. |

Denise McCluggage remembers Carroll Shelby

GM to build Cadillacs outside the U.S.
Tue, 07 Jun 2011General Motors CEO Dan Akerson said Tuesday that the company plans to begin building Cadillacs outside the United States by the end of 2012 as part of its plan to make GM's premium brand a true global nameplate. Akerson said overseas Cadillac production would reduce the risk of foreign-currency fluctuations and allow GM to better manage its supply chain. Although Cadillac long has been sold in China and other international markets, it's produced only in North America.
Mini Beachcomber Concept at Detroit motor show 2010
Tue, 15 Dec 2009This funky beach-biased concept car has just appeared at the 2010 Detroit Auto Show in January. Called the Mini Beachcomber Concept, this flight-of-fancy Moke-inspired show car gives us our first glimpse of how Mini's production-spec 4x4 crossover will look at launch - we'll see the real car at the Geneva motor show in March 2010 ahead of an autumn UK launch. This four-seater, four-wheel-drive machine has been designed without doors or a conventional roof, so that its occupants are not cut off from the outside world.
