Glass bleeded and cleaned up, ready for seal replacement and paint. No repairs to this part, it is original as far as I can tell.
Brand:O.E.M. Chrysler Surface Finish:Cleaned bare stamped steel metal Manufacturer Part Number:None that I could find, no stampings Warranty:No Placement on Vehicle:Front Country/Region of Manufacture:Canada

Up for auction / your consideration is a used 392 Chrysler Hemi Timing chain cover.  It is not New Old Stock.  It has been glass bleeded to clean it and to prepare it for paint.  It is used, it is not perfect, but in very nice shape.  Please examine, study, and review all of the pictures, as I want you to know exactly what you are bidding on.  There seems to be no repairs and the two threaded holes, on the side, for mounting of the fuel pump, are in great shape.  There seems to be no dings, dents, gouges, bends to this cover, overall in very nice shape.  This one even has the timing mark/bar that goes across the front middle on it.  The seal is intact and seems to be in OK shape, but should be replace so as to get the best seal from this.  There are no part numbers or marks on this part, that I could find, and there is no Chrysler stamping emblem that a lot of the newer parts have on them.  I have stated that this is made in Canada, but can not verify that for a fact.  Most of the engine parts were made in Canada??

He didn’t) and will have it on show as part of McLaren’s 50th anniversary celebrations.

Show Review: Design LA

Mon, 18 Dec 2006

Design LA, the automotive design conference that incorporates the Design Challenge competition, has announced its winners, during this year's LA Motor Show. Chuck Pelly, who set up Design LA last year, introduced the event and the judges for the Design Challenge: Tom Matano , Director, Academy of Art University; Imre Molner, Dean, College of Creative Studies; Steward Reed, Chair, Transportation Design, Art Centre College of Design; and Bill Van Amburg, Senior Vice President, Calsart. This year's nine competition entries had a brief to deliver a 100 percent recyclable, five-year lifespan vehicle with 'accoutrements that add fun or function to represent California's unique green lifestyle.' The Acura FCX 2020 Le Mans is a Le Mans-style race car concept notable for its enclosed wheels and motorbike style forward-inclined driving position between the front wheels (which can just be made out in the translucent illustration shown here).

Mitsubishi i MiEV Electric car launches in Japan

Sun, 07 Jun 2009

Mitsubishi i MiEV electric car launched in Japan at around £20,000 Until now, electric cars have been very much an oddity. The laughable G-Whiz and the Tesla Roadster are interesting in their own way, but unless you want to look like Noddy’s best friend (G-Whiz) or are happy to have a second-rate Lotus Elise at three times the price (Tesla), there wasn’t much to appeal to the normal car buyer. But it’s changing.
