“Real Vintage Original Casler 14" Cheater Slicks from back in the 50's & 60's. Tires were used with tubes which are included. Some dry rot and cracks in beads but are useable for display or a survivor Hot Rod.”

This is a pair of old Vintage Casler Cheater Racing Slicks. For 14" Wheels. Have some dry rot and chips in the beads but are usable. Do have tubes included and were holding air with those. Pretty sure you were required to run them with tubes. Casler made them back in the 1950's and 60's using the recap process on bias ply tires. These were the rage back then on hot rods of all kinds. Were on a set of steel 1966 Chevelle wheels and have been off the car for decades. One has some marks on the inside from rubbing against something but marks are just on the surface and will not affect their use. See the photos for condition. Would not really think of them as road tires due to age, but would make a great original display or look right at home on a vintage rat rod or survivor street rod, 55 56 or 57 Chevy, or Thunderbird, or anywhere where a vintage racing tire is required. These are reproduced, but I understand without the cool Casler Racing Tires lettering and checkered flag. Hey, they are not perfect..but man, they are probably 50 years old. 

Height is 28 3/4 inches, and tread width is 7 inches.

Honda CR-V (2012) first official pictures

Honda has shown a solitary picture of the new CR-V crossover. This is a concept car of the 4x4 that will be shown at the Orange County International Auto Show in Anaheim, California in September 2011. It's clearly not far removed from what will become the fourth-generation Honda CR-V, which is due to go on sale in the US by the end of 2011 and in Europe by autumn 2012.

Pagani Zonda F Cinque – er, no it’s not!

The mysterious 'Zonda F Cinque' - which is actually a Regular Zonda Cinque But we are still to see the Zonda Cinque (which is essentially a tamed-down Zonda R for the road) in the wild, and probably because of that the car sites around the world were full of a mysterious ‘Zonda F Cinque’ that was going to turn up at the Geneva Motor Show. But we had our doubts. We have pretty good contacts at Pagani, and although we knew that the Pagani coming to Geneva was in fact the Cinque (as well as the Zonda R) we wanted to work out where the rumour came from.

New Infiniti G Series to debut at 2013 Detroit Auto Show

The new 2013 / 2014 Infiniti G Series will debut at the Detroit Motor Show in January before going on sale later in 2013. Infiniti may not have managed to make the biggest mark on the car landscape in the UK, but the news of a new G-Series is interesting because it seems likely it will offer a more interesting design and more Europe-focused powertrains. The current Infini G37 comes as a 3.7 litre V6 and nothing else, which doesn’t exactly help sales in Europe where economy and CO2 levels are a bigger driver of sales than they are in Infiniti’s main market, the USA.
